Hahnville High School Student of the Year Kathryn Prendergast is the daughter of Michael and Allison Prendergast. She is an active member of the HHS talented theater program, student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and the International Thespian Honor Society. She volunteers her talents in the community through service organizations, community theater, singing in nursing homes and volunteering at physical therapy clinics.

After graduation, Prendergast aspires to have a double major in kinesiology and theater, ultimately becoming a physical therapist for performing artists. She would like to extend her deepest gratitude to her parents, brother and teachers for instilling within her the love of learning.
