The River Region Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Women’s Day at their office recently. The event began with an opportunity to preview goodies for the upcoming holidays. Vendors included The Basketry in Luling, Geaux for the Gold in LaPlace, Let It Flow Balloons and More in LaPlace and local artist Carol Zehner.  Items for sale included gift baskets, paintings, jewelry, candles and more.
