David P. Curtis Jr., 42, passed away Tuesday Oct. 9, 2012.

He was the devoted father of Leslie, Courtney and Christina, former husband of Kelly Levet Curtis, son of David Curtis Sr. and the late Christina Sternberger Curtis, brother of Charnelle Rebstock (Donald) and Charlotte Curtis, fiance of Cindy Acuff and future stepfather of Alexa Hudgens. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of LSU and co-founder of Southern Custom Builders. He was a native of Metairie and resident of LaPlace.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
