LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Parish President Natalie Robottom has issued the following pick up points for residents evacuating flooding areas of St. John the Baptist Parish that are able to walk to a common area:

Area: Cambridge Pick Up Point – Home Depot

Area: New Hwy 51 Pick Up Point – Car Wash on Hwy 51 or Home Depot

Area: Belle Terre Pick Up Point – Corner of St Andrews Blvd and Country Club Drive

Area: Riverlands Heights Pick Up Point – Movie Theatre, 1312 W. Airline Hwy

 

ASSISTANCE: If anyone is unable to walk to the neighborhood pick up point listed above due to a medical condition, please call 985-652-2222 to arrange for pick up at their home.

 

HOSPITAL – OPEN

 

SCHOOL: CLOSED until Tuesday, September 4th

 

POWER: 95% of St. John Parish remains without power.

Search and Rescue: State Police, National Guard, Wildlife and Fisheries, and St. John Sheriff and Fire personnel are performing search and rescue operations.
