LAPLACE – The River Region Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a free lunchtime information session Tuesday for residents and business owners to get tips on hurricane protection from an insurance viewpoint.

The hour-long seminar, part of the Chamber’s “Lunch and Learn” series, begins at 11:30 a.m. at the River Region Chamber office, 301 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace. Lunch will be provided by State Farm.

James Wagner, a LaPlace State Farm agent, will share insurance information regarding dealing with the threat of hurricanes. He will be offering advice on how to protect yourself, your family and your assets.
