Elise Fertitta Satterlee, 88, died Friday, July 6, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimers.

She was the beloved wife of the late Roland “Chut” Satterlee, mother of Joe Satterlee Sr. (Bobbie), Russell Satterlee (Connie) and the late Roland Satterlee Jr., grandmother of Anthony, Joseph, Garett and Evan Satterlee, Sherry Mince, Kristy Ibarra and Tiffany Landry, great-grandmother of Logan and Gabriele Mince, Lance and Lilianna Ibarra, Sebastian Landry and Garett Jr., Kale and Braedon Satterlee, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Fertitta and sister of the late Annie Zeringue, Shirley Steele, Sarah Browning and Lucy McClure.

She was a native of Kenner and a resident LaPlace for the last seven years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Monday July 9, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. Fifth St., LaPlace, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
