NORCO — Sun Villa got off to a fast start at home Thursday en route to securing a 363.5-174.5 victory over visiting Belle Terre.

The Sharks outscored the Piranhas 75-32 in the freestyle event and 60.5-43.5 in the backstroke to take a commanding early lead that it would build upon throughout the night.

Zach Dantin won three events to lead Belle Terre (0-4), while Alexandra Rutledge captured two first place finishes.

Jesse Webre, Christopher Hammick, Camryn Loving, Mallory Fernandez, Sophia Simon, Jobe Kelly, David Gurley, Justin Jase and Blaine Tatje each won an event to round out winners for the Piranhas.

Belle Terre will be on bye Thursday before closing the season at LARAYO.
