The Miss Black Louisiana USA Organization is kicking off its first official casting call for the 2013 Talented Teen Pageant, with auditions today.

The spirited competition is seeking teens between the ages of 14-18 for its Talented Teen pageant. In addition, the Princess Pageant will also be holding auditions, seeking young girls between the ages of 5-13.

“We are looking for talented, poised young girls to represent the best and brightest of Louisiana. I believe that each contestant who enters this pageant will benefit tremendously from the experience,” said Tiffany Magee, the state director for the Miss Black Louisiana USA organization.

Winners of each pageant make appearances, attend educational functions and participate in community activities across the state of Louisiana. The organization seeks to empower young African-American girls by providing positive activities and educational opportunities throughout the state.

The Miss Black Louisiana USA, Talented Teen and Princess Pageants will all take place on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Louisiana State Police Auditorium in Baton Rouge. To RSVP for the casting call, email missblacklouisianausa@gmail.com, or visit www.missblacklouisianausa.org for more information.
