The Summer Reading Program starts June 1 and part of the ongoing festivities will be an activity no fan of “The Good Dr.” will want to miss.

For every four Dr. Seuss books that each registered Summer Reading participant reads, he or she will receive a voucher for one children’s ticket to see “Seussical” at the St. John Theatre in LaPlace. This program is for children 12 and under.

Registration is now underway at all four branches of the St. John the Baptist Library and ends June 30. Show dates for “Seussical” are July 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27 and 28.
