The St. John 4-H is a youth organization that promotes involvement in science, engineering and technology.  Striving to engage its members though head, heart, hands and health,  some of the activities and lessons they participate in include learning about inhabitants of the Louisiana Cypress Forest and fish species, as well as, frogs, snakes, insects and auqa-culture.

Additionally the St. John 4-H participated in the school garden project at East St. John High, East St. John Elementary, John L. Ory Magnet, Emily C. Watkins, Ascension of Our Lord and St. Joan of Arc.

These kinds of projects could not happen with out the hard work and dedication of its leaders and volunteers. Recently, this group held its annual appreciation banquet thanking and honoring these individuals.
