Marie Catoire Oubre, 89, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Octave Oubre and mother of Robert Oubre, Mary Anderson and the late Octave Jr. and Rene Oubre, Catherine Garrett and Linda Matherine. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Elmo Catoire.

She was a native of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Burial followed in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery in LaPlace.
