Sharon Poche was surprised at an assembly celebrating the closing of Catholic Schools Week early in February when she was named St. Peter Chanel’s Teacher of the Year. Family and friends joined the faculty, staff and students to honor her. The admiration of everyone in attendance was obvious. Her high standards of professional conduct and behavior have earned her the respect of the entire school community.
