Shelly “Gout” Goutierrez, 66, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center. He was a retired supervisor with Shell Oil after 33 years of service.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Judy Goutierrez. He was father of the late Leah Goutierrez Andry (Mark), the grandfather of Jake Devin Andry, the son of the late Ned E. Goutierrez and Ledie Brasseaux and the brother of Donney, the late Lynn, Marty, Farron, Benny and Ned E. Goutierrez Jr. He is also survived by a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law who loved him as a brother.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at the church with Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.
