Thinking about buying a house? Curious about the home-buying process? Get your questions answered at a Homeownership Fair at the St. Charles Parish East Regional Library on Saturday, March 3, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The library is located at 160 West Campus Dive. in Destrehan.

Local builders, home inspectors, insurance companies, mortgage companies, nonprofit resources, real estate agencies and title companies will be at the fair to provide information about the steps of the home-buying process. Attendees will also have a chance to register to win a matching G.E. washer and dryer donated by Haydel’s Furniture and Appliances.

“We’re really excited to provide this opportunity for the community,” said librarian Lauren Pitz. “The fair will really be a one-stop shop for home buying questions and answers. Attendees will get a chance to talk to a variety of organizations to help them gather the information they need to make the best choices about such an important decision.”
