Jerald Rambo, 73, passed peacefully Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimers.

He always thought of everybody else before himself. He was a self-taught engineer, and he created marine geological measuring devices and methods, but more importantly he was insistent to see others enjoy life. He loved to make people laugh and smile.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol, his son, Jeff, and his wife Ruth, who he has certainly joined in heaven. He was also the father of Jerry Rambo, Ricky Rambo and Lisa Marse. His grandchildren left behind are James Deerey Jr., Frank Deerey, Joshua Rambo, Jerry Rambo Jr., Jack Rambo, Rachael Rambo, Brennan Marse and Tyler Marse.

The family requests everybody to remember Jerald as he was before his illness, “a strong, comical, intelligent, excellent provider for his family and friends.”
