LaPlace native, Ron’eeka Hill, daughter of Ronald and Emma Hill, was crowned the 2012 Miss City of Pineville at Louisiana College in Pineville. Miss City of Pineville is an official preliminary to the Miss Louisiana America Scholarship Pageant held annually by the Miss America Organization. Hill will vie for the title of Miss Louisiana this June in Monroe, where she will compete in interview, on-stage question, evening gown, talent and swimsuit.

Hill performed a jazz routine to “Tainted Love” by the Pussycat Dolls for her talent and advocated for her platform “Homeless Not Hopeless,” Hill’s initiative through her own non-profit organization to end homelessness and aid the less fortunate in reaching their full potential.

Hill is a first year law student at Southern University Law Center, graduate of Reserve Christian School and 2010 St. John Parish Miss Andouille.
