Ruby Delaneuville Clement, 91, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Chester Clement, mother of Sherran Frichter (the late Jim), Linda Gaudin (Warren), Jane Ollar (Joe), Kitty Gomez (Ed) and Chesley Cashio (Harold) and grandmother of Mark Frichter, Kristina Pena, Jonathan Gaudin, Steven and Jeffrey Ollar, Lisa Ellington, Alison Schexnayder, Trisha Sonntag and Adrianne Cashio. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Horace and Loretta Madere Delaneuville and sister of Hazel Fontana, Mary Ann Keller and the late Horace Jr. and Ronnie Delaneuville, Henry Mire, Helen Borgeson, Edna Duviehl and Mildred Rosetta.

The family extends special thanks to the staff of Maison Oaks.

She was a native of Edgard and a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends, also the Catholic Daughters of America, River Parishes Visitation and services were held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
