A blessing for the new year
Published 12:00 am Saturday, December 31, 2011
Jeanne and I have been married for 53 years and are greatly blessed with four children, 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and expecting three more. God has provided us and our family with good health and has met every need we’ve ever had. We have no plans to retire because it is such a joy to minister to so many lonely and hurting people.
Yes, the ministry of Get High on Life is alive and well, thanks to your prayers, friendship and support. May we never forget that it is God’s ministry, and we are but trusted servants. It is an awesome responsibility and a great privilege to be used
by the King of Kings!
We trust that the year 2012 will be a year of new hope, special guidance and spiritual blessing for you and your family. God loves you dearly, and He will not leave you in confusion or distress. You can make it your best year ever by diligently studying His Word, by daily prayer, and by fully trusting the Holy Spirit to do in you what you can’t do in your own strength.
As for me, I want God to increase in my life and the old Harold Keller, with all his pride, selfishness and condemning spirit, to decrease. I need to quit trying to impress people and concentrate on pleasing God. I have to focus more on where I’ll spend eternity than on my
wants in this life, which are only temporary. I want to be a pure ves-sel that God can use to help others.
I will claim all the promises in the Bible for me and my family, especially I Corinthians 2:9 – “…Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
May you and your family enjoy a happy and prosperous New Year, filled with good health, much joy, lots of love and a peace that surpasses all understanding!
