At St. Rose Elementary, first graders are utilizing technology on a daily basis. During a math lesson on addition and subtraction fact families, Kelley Toups (standing) uses an ActivInspire flipchart for her lesson that she has created. The students use ActivExpression hand held remote devices to electronically submit answers posed by the teacher. These devices allow every child to be able to participate and answer in a fun and interactive way. Questions vary from yes/no, multiple choice, true/false, numeric and even full texting.
