Luling Elementary’s third-grade students entered the parish library bookmark contest last month. The theme was animals.The students needed to design a bookmark around this theme. All winners received a ribbon. The winners were first place – Stasia McGee, third place – Jordyn Talylor and honorable mention Camrynne Brown. McGee’s bookmark will be on display at all parish libraries. Her classmates will receive one to use while reading at school.
