Hahnville High School senior Blake Schouest has been named student of the year. Schouest is the son of Becky and Brent Schouest. He serves as a student athletic trainer for the football team and as a Kick-Off Mentor. He is also a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. After graduation, Schouest plans to attend Louisiana State University to major in biological sciences.
