Daniel’s passions were for music, hunting, baseball and building or repairing things, he had a strong mechanical aptitude. He was a very compassionate young man giving freely of himself to family and friends. He was loved by many, and his smile and hugs were a gift from God. Daniel was to be admired for his persistence, loving heart and constant drive to succeed in whatever he attempted. Special thanks to his core friends, who he appreciated for their strength and support during the many phases of his life. Though young in age, he was a wise old soul from the many experiences during his short life and his appreciation of the love he felt from many people.

Visitation and services were held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. In lieu of flowers or masses, the family requests memorial donations to the Daniel Roussel III Fund at any Capital One Bank. Arrangements by L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home.
