Sibyl L. Loiacano, 55, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011, at River Region Hospice. She was a graduate of Destrehan High School and a secretary/teacher at Reserve Christian School.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, David J. Loiacano; three sons: David “D.J.” (Leslie) Loiacano, Dwayne Loiacano and Devin Loiacano; one daughter, Donyelle L. (Michael) Jimenez; four brothers, Kenny (Doris) Louque, David (Patricia) Louque, Gary (Staci) Louque and Barry (Wendy) Louque; four sisters, Kitty (Whitey) Faucheux, Patty (Cabot) Corso, Carol (Milton) Maples and Donna (Chris) Maples; four grandchildren, Kailey Brooks, Peyton Loiacano, David J. Loiacano III and Kennedie C. Loiacano; and mother-in-law, Shirley Bergeron Loiacano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Louque Jr. and Lois Babin; one brother, Kevin Joseph Louque; and father-in-law, Sylvester “Slim” Loiacano.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Bread of Life Christian Church, 10328 River Road, St. Rose. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Canizaro officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 152 N. Hollywood Road, Houma.
