Harry Hurst Middle students placed at the 52nd Annual Region 10 Science and Engineering Fair held at Nicholls State University, including Andy Gilmore winning first place overall for the junior division. Hurst seventh-grade students winners are as follows:

First place – Andy Gilmore, Physics and Astronomy

Second place – Jacob Lougon, Plant Science

Honorable mention – Cole Grieshop, Environmental Management

Third place – Leland Kelly, Engineering: Mechanical and Bioengineering
