Pamela Peel Abt, 58, passed away on Tuesday April 12, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of James (Jimmy) Abt, mother of Becky Kay Boaz (Scott) and Jennifer Hebert Richardson (Karl), grandmother of Tatum and Kaylee Boaz, Logan Richardson, Kacie, Chris and Cody Abt, April McDaniel and Kaylee and McKenzie Gaspard, godmother of Stacy Mora Heltz and Blaine Roth, daughter of the late Robert and Frances Peel, sister of Debra Mora (T.J.), Cullen Peel and the late Carolyn Peel and Rebecca Roth and aunt of Shane, Blake and Brittany Mora, Kalei Peel and Chasse Roth. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews.

Her family filled her life with love and laughter. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of LaPlace.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Friday April 15, 2011. Burial will be private at a later date.
