Rose “Mae” Boudreaux Berthelot, 78, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of Alton “Coonie” Berthelot, mother of A.J. Berthelot (Tammy), Nadine Wells, Jeffrey Berthelot (Lezlie) and Al Berthelot Jr., grandmother of Dustin, Megan, Jessica, Melissa, Austin and Jourdan Berthelot and Manuel Jr. and Claire Wells, daughter of the late Aubert and Suzanne Boudreaux and sister of Louise Ruiz.

She was a native and resident of LaPlace.

Services were held on Monday, April 4, 2011, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace. Burial followed in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery in LaPlace.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the American Heart Association.
