Funded by the Brown Foundation grant, middle school students from St. Charles Borromeo School in Destrehan volunteered their time at Ozanam Inn in New Orleans helping package sandwiches for homeless, organizing their cooler and folding laundry. After touring the building, students handed out bagged lunches to the homeless in the area.
