NORCO – Motorists traveling through St. Charles Parish should be aware of the possibility of roadblocks on River Road next week as Valero St. Charles moves heavy equipment to their Norco facility.

According to a release from Valero, the company will be moving two coke drums across River road between Monday March 7 and Wednesday March 9. The move will take place between Prospect Avenue and Wesco Road.

There will be brief road blocks on River Road during the move on these days. The road is expected to only be blocked for about an hour per drum. The drums will cross the levee between the Valero and Shell docks.
