Sandra Fernandez’s sixth grade class at LaPlace Elementary School recently wrote thank you cards to Specialist Darek Jones in Iraq. Upon his return home from Iraq, Jones visited the class to thank them for the beautiful cards. Students enjoyed his visit and thanked him for the gifts he had sent each child from Iraq.
