The LaPlace V.F.W. Post 3337 recently held its annual awards ceremonyand honored two members of the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Gilberto Castellanos received the Officer of the Year award and Lt. Brian Bertrand received a plaque for his work in starting the St. John Young Marines Program.
