Marie L. Vicknair, age 91, passed away at her son’s residence on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010. A native of St. Rose and has lived in New Sarpy.

She is survived by one daughter, Laura Cuti; two sons, Oliver Vicknair Jr. (Pat) and Henry Vicknair (Liz); 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Vicknair Sr.; her parents, Henry Tramonte and Laura Neidhardt; step-mother, Inez Tramonte; one brother, Gus Tramonte; step-brother, Walter Purcell; and son-in-law, Philip Cuti.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m. until noon at the H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Funeral services was held in the funeral home at noon. Burial followed in the St. Charles Mausoleum in Destrehan.
