George “Ba Ba” Paul Landry, 87, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of Norco.

He was the beloved husband of Jennie Haydel Maggiore Landry by second marriage and the late Thelma Jackson Landry by first marriage; son of the late Leon and Lena Stout Landry; and brother of Wanda Manard of River Ridge, the late Rose Mary Hertel, Catherine Masser, Shirley Elfer and Allen “Tuffy” Landry. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Landry was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 195 and Lions Club and was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 3634.

A funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco on Monday, Nov. 22. Interment was in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
