Aline Elizabeth Brown, 54, passed away on Nov. 20, 2010. In celebration of her life, a gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 61269 Beulah St., Lacombe.

She was the daughter of Albert Sidney Brown III and Juanita Stansbury Brown. Born in Jeanerette on Feb. 3, 1956, she lived in LaPlace before settling in Lacombe.

At the time of her death she was a longtime employee of Hughes Supply in Luling.

She is survived by sisters Pat (Ted) Norris of Lugoff, S.C. and Janine (Mike) McDougall of Lacombe, brother Jake (Dawn) of LaPlace and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her Lee Lee.

Aline was an avid gardener. The love of her life was family, and she especially enjoyed outings to the Tennessee mountains and Disney World. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
