East St. John High homecoming queen is Dezness Wilson of LaPlace. Wilson is the daughter of Kenya Wilson and the late Larry Williams of LaPlace. Wilson is a four-year member of the track and field team and volleyball team and a four-year peer mediator. Wilson plans to attend Texas A & M to study interior design.
