Oak Alley Plantation has long been considered one of the most haunted places in America. Over the years, many staff and guests alike have experienced the unexplained and wanted to share their stories. Because of this, the Travel Channel selected Oak Alley Plantation for an episode of “Most Terrifying Places in America,” airing on Halloween.
Built in 1839, Oak Alley Plantation was created out of the love Jacque and Celina Roman had for each other. But through the years, Oak Alley Plantation experienced tragedy time and time again. Many believe that the tragic times of the Roman family and other owners of Oak Alley Plantation have allowed for spirits to haunt the iconic plantation.
“Most Terrifying Places in America” will air on the Travel Channel Sunday, Oct. 31, 5 p.m. It will air again Saturday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
