This fourth annual historical tour and mourning event will take place starting Oct. 30, on the grounds of St. Michael’s Church and the historic home of Judge Felix Poché. “Gone But Not Forgotten,” organized by Crazy ‘Bout History, focuses on the history of South Louisiana and the strict mourning customs of the Victorian era.

Spirits from the past will come alive to share their stories of nineteenth-century living. Participants can expect fiddle music by Randy Walsh and spirituals by Judy Whitney Davis and Derrick Faucheux to set the mood. Tours start every forty-five minutes from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. It is $15 for the tour, lunch available for a small fee. For more information call 225-869-8148 or visit www.crazybouthistoryinc.org.
