Bikers ‘Ride United’ to support United Way of St. Charles

LULING — Over 150 bikers participated in the Ride United Poker Run hosted by United Way of St. Charles on Saturday, Sept. 25.
Ride United participants started the poker run at the United Way of St. Charles office in Luling and visited five other stops in the metropolitan area including 61 Blues Highway, The Pit Stop, Big Al’s, Zam’s Airboat Tours and Z’s Spot. The participants ended the poker run at the Alligator Festival in St. Charles Parish.
Celeste Saltalamachia had the best poker hand with four-of-a-kind and won $300. Dawn Lemoine had the second best hand with a full-house and won $150. The worst hand went to Lori Barrios who won $50. Participants also had opportunities to win 50/50 and raffle prizes.
