Stanley Joseph Guidry, 81, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21.

He was the beloved husband of Lois Graci Guidry and the late Leona Fabre Guidry. He was a native of St. Charles Parish and resident of LaPlace for 33 years.

He is survived by his children, Wayne Guidry, Kenneth Guidry, Ruth G. Ballam, Patricia Guidry and Michael Guidry; three siblings, Noah Guidry Jr., Arnold Guidry and Jeannie Palmer; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Noah and Jeanne Guidry, as well as by three siblings, Roy Guidry, Alice Buford and Lorraine Glover; two grandsons, William “David” Spencer and Billy Arnold; and one great-granddaughter, Erica Ledger.

A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, Sept. 23, at at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan. Interment was at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.
