Cindy Pitre, 55, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at University Hospital in New Orleans. She was a native of Lake Charles and lived in Destrehan.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, E. J. Pitre of Destrehan; two sons, Christopher “Chris” Pitre (Dana) and John “Moose” Pitre; one daughter, Theresa Pitre; and her mother, Dolores Madere Mart of LaPlace. She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Mart Jr.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at the H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Funeral services were held at noon from the funeral home.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
