Georgine M. Granier, 95, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Emile A. Granier; mother of Beryl Glover (Donald), Julius Granier and Joseph “Jackie” Granier; daughter of Alice Dufresne and Aubert and Victor Aubert; sister of the late Claude Aubert, Lilliam Minvielle, Florence Louviere and Theresa Chauvin; grandmother of Thomas “Tommy” Glover (Tammy), Donna Gros-Trimmier (Paul), Terry Glover, Diane Verret, Ricky Granier (Joyce), Ellen Fritz (Seth) and Michael Granier (Sandra); great-grandmother of Lyndsay, Brooke, Reed, Melissa, Joshua, Ashley, Christopher, Jennifer, Rusty, Jessica, Ryan, Rebecca, David and Sean; and great-great-grandmother of Devon and Madeline.

Born on Dec. 12, 1914, and a native of Good Hope and Destrehan, she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, Nifty Fifties, St. Charles Borromeo Church Choir and the Senior Citizens Club.

Visitation and services were held Monday, Sept. 20, at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with Fr. Bru officiant. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
