LAPLACE – St. John Sheriff’s deputies will be conducting a DWI checkpoint somewhere within the parish this evening, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.

An exact location was not available as of press time Friday, but the release indicated the checkpoint would be conducted between the hours of 6 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, so long as weather permits.
