On March 11, The River Region Chamber of Commerce will team up to host a business incentives seminar with speakers from Advantous Consulting LLC. The one-and-a-half hour seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. (registration at 8 a.m.) and will be held at the Louisiana Technical College – Reserve Campus.

The speakers will assist companies in identifying, applying for, securing, complying with, and maximizing benefits from state and federal business incentive programs. The company’s principals have over 40 years of combined experience with incentive and governmental programs and have been very successful in helping businesses secure their potential tax credits and rebates. Advantous has a staff of 13 professionals who have specific expertise in aligning companies with the appropriate business incentive programs and in managing the often very complex and detailed compliance work required by the programs.

Don Allison, Advantous principal, stated, “Too many Louisiana businesses do not take full advantage of the existing incentive opportunities either because they are unaware of the programs, unaware that they may be eligible, or they simply don’t have the time and resources to manage the process. This seminar will shed light on these programs and help local businesses understand how to obtain what is available.”

The cost for the seminar is $10 for members and $15 for future members.
