On Friday Feb. 5, 2010, Marion Marie Delaneuville Duhe left this life to join God and her loved ones in heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Igar and Emily Marie Landry Delaneuville, her husband, Lionel B. Duhe Sr,, her beloved daughter, Cherryl Theresa Duhe Ehrhart, and two beloved sons-in-law, Eugene Jack Ehrhart and Robert Henry Casse III.

Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Marie Duhe Simpson and Pamela Ann Duhe Casse, two sons, Lionel B Duhe Jr. and Bryan Joseph Duhe, two daughters-in-law, Sabrina Parr Duhe and Sheila Prevost Duhe, and a son-in-law, Dawson Kinchen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Douglas Michael Simpson, Cherryl Lynn Simpson, Lorin Michelle Casse, Brittany Nicole Duhe, Jacob Matthew Duhe, Lionel B. “Trey” Duhe III and Olivia Brooke Duhe, and two great-grandchildren, Heather Lynn Simpson and Micheal Douglas Simpson.

Marion Duhe was active with the Tangipahoa Volunteer Family Community Sunshine Ladies, the Catholic Daughters of Our Lady of Pompeii Church and numerous other charitable organizations. She spent her lifetime in service to God, her church, her family, her community, the needy and the poor.

Visitation was at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010. A rosary preceded a Catholic mass, which was held at 11 a.m.

Following the mass, the Catholic Daughters hosted a luncheon at the Our Lady of Pompeii hall.
