LAPLACE – St. Joan of Arc Catholic School’s 2010 Krewe Jeanne d’Arc Carnival Ball Courts and their families raised more than $82,000 in a major fund-raiser for the LaPlace school. This year’s theme is “Krewe Jeanne d’Arc Visits Motown.” To participate in the court, couples must have raised a minimum of $800. The couples sponsored several fund-raisers such as garage sales, dinners, bake sales and raffles throughout the year. The Junior Court of the Krewe Jeanne d’Arc were presented last night in the Family Life Center in LaPlace. The Senior Court will be presented tonight at 7:30 p.m.
