Members of the LaPlace Rotary Club have been visiting fourth grade classes around St. John Parish recently to instill in students the history and meaning of the flag of the United States. Here, along with the help of De’Markus Howard, they demonstrate to Nadine Stewart’s class at Emily C. Watkins Elementary the proper way to fold a flag while Barry Griffin explains what each fold means.
