James ‘Lil Jim’ Louque

James “Lil Jim” Louque, age 42, a native of Grand Point and resident of Lutcher, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in a tragic accident. He was employed at Shell Motiva in Norco as a machinist. His hobbies were motorcycles and hand guns. He is survived by his sisters: Marsha Roper, Sherrie Louque, Mary Merritt Louque and Camilla Louque as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Belinda Louque. He is also survived by four nephews, five nieces and five great-nieces and an abundance of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Shirley Louque of Grand Point.

Visitation was held at Rose Lynn Funeral Home on Friday, May 22, 2009, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will be held again on Saturday, May 23, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11 a.m. followed by entombment in the Church Mausoleum.
