Members of Youth Corps of LaPlace, a leadership program for high school students, recently spent some time collecting discarded Christmas trees for the parish’s annual wetlands recycling program. The teens gathered trees from across the parish and brought them to the Reserve boat launch where they were prepared for use along Louisiana’s eroding coastlines. At left are
