Cedric Jenkins, Reserve Christian (BSK) — Jenkins exploded for 32 points on Saturday as Reserve topped powerful West Monroe — ranked No. 7 in the Class 5A poll — 69-56. It was his third strong performance of the week, after scoring 22 in a victory over Rummel on Friday night, and nearly netting a triple-double in a win against Phoenix on Tuesday — he scored 15 points, dished nine assists and grabbed eight rebounds.

Reyna Lubin, St. Charles — St. Charles clinched at least a share of the District 7-III championship with wins over defending champion E.D. White last Tuesday and Riverside on Thursday. Lubin scored three times in the Comets 4-0 win over White, and added four more in SCC’s 7-0 triumph over Riverside.
