Willie J. Daigle on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at 6:30 a.m. Beloved husband of Janice Reulet Daigle for 53 years. Father of Patricia D. and husband Douglas Bailey and Karl and wife Gail Daigle. Grandfather of Chris and Rachel Bailey. Brother of Hilda Adams, Ida Plaisance, Gladys Knoblock, Alice Robicheaux and the late Ulysse and Wade Daigle.

He was a decorated Army Veteran of WWII in the European Theatre. Age 82 years. A native of Lockport and a resident of Reserve for the past 37 years.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Saturday, Jan. 17. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
