Bryan Lasher Parkhill died on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 at 3:24 a.m. at his residence after a long battle with cancer. Age 34, he was a native of Wilmington, Del., and lived in Destrehan for the past 17 years. He was a process operator with Valero and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp – L/CPL. Survived by parents Daniel and Janice Lasher Parkhill, fiance Saioa de Urquiza, grandfather Gale L. Lasher, grandmother Winifred McGowan Parkhill, sister Carrie Leaumont and her husband Brian and brother Colin Parkhill.

Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Carmela Lasher nee Manfred, and paternal grandfather Clifford Parkhill.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 15, at the H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Services will be held on Monday, Jan. 19, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian, Pa. with interment to follow in the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
